Hey...I loved Rogue Squadron, the first game, and missed out on Rogue Leader, and then with Rebel Strike coming out, I wanted to know which of the 3 was the best, cause I have to decide on KOTOR, Rebel Strike, or Rogue Leader....thanks guys.

In the RS series, Rogue Leader is my favorite. Reason being it posed more of a challenge than Rebel Strike. It took me about a month to complete all levels and bonus levels of Rogue Leader whereas it took me about a week to complete all of Rebel Strike. However, Rebel Strike includes a two player version of Rogue Leader, so if you got someone who'll sit down and play the game with you go for Rebel Strike.
KOTOR and the RS series are completely different genres, just decide what you want more, an RPG'ish game(KOTOR) or more of a simple, arcade type game(RS). Then go from there.
Hope that helps!

Rogue Leader is my favorite as well, more challenging than Rebel Strike and better bonus ships. Naboo fighter and Vader's fighter for example. As for KOTR I have played that game and would recommend you rent it first. Rent Rebel Strike before you buy it too, You'll probably beat it before you have to return it.

I liked rogue leader a good bit more than rebel strike, though they both have their merits.
Since you mentioned the other star wars games that you have to decide amongst, I thought I'd throw in my opinion (opinion, mind you - don't want to get flamed
) that KOTOR is the best star wars video game ever made. Of course, if you don't like rpg's, it probably won't be up your alley...

The main difference in Rebel Strike and Rogue Leader that makes me almost say RS is better, is that RL doesn't have much of a continuous storyline... Somewhat, but not like Rebel Strike has.
The original Rogue Squadron had a nice story to it that that's better than the other 2 actually.

Just get Rebel Strike. It has Rebel Strike and Rogue Leader, but you'll need a partner for RSII.

If I were you, I'd probably pick up RL none other than for the fact that you can pick it up at retail for $15.00 in some places.
I'd wait to get RS until it drops in price.

Get KOTOR.
The gameplay is awesome, the story is unbelievable, and I guarentee you'll spend more time playing KOTOR then any of the RS games. They're okay to beat once, but after that it's too repetitive.
With KOTOR you have atleast 80 hours of gameplay, but more in the 100s. You have the option of male/female and lightside/darkside. And if you wanna go even deeper you can mix and match your class and Jedi designation(guardian, consular, sentinel).
For everyone who hasn't played KOTOR, I guarentee that you will like it. It is the greatest Star Wars game ever made.

<font size="2" face="arial">I haven't even looked much into this game. Could you give me a link which has a lot of info? If its half as good as you seem to think it is, I might just have to go pick it up.

I haven't played Rogue Squadron, but I have played RL and Rebel Strike. And, I'm in the minority apparently but, I love Rebel Strike. I probably love it for the same reasons most knock it. I actually like that it's a bit easier than RL as I'm a casual gamer and I don't really play with any regularity. But Rebel Strike is a deeper game than RL so that makes up for it in my eyes. I also enjoy being able to get out of the cockpit and run around for a while, even though the controls border on terrible and the run-around levels/moments are too simplistic. It makes for a much more rounded gaming experience and it's been able to deepen your involvement in the Star Wars universe in terms of that game. Hell, I haven't had this much fun and felt so involved in the universe with a SW game since Jedi Power Battles for the PSone (another game with frustrating controls--especially when jumping but it's still better than Rebel Strike's controls--but oodles of fun). *sigh* How I long for a 3rd person Jedi game like JPB for a next gen system..... Anywho, I also love the bonuses on Rebel Strike.
IMO, you can't go wrong with either. If you're an uber-Star Wars dork, you'll love Rebel Strike despite its faults (really, as far as some Star Wars games go, it's still one of the better ones) and RL is fun too just more frustrating for the casual gamer.
I've been dying to play KOTOR and I got it for PC but it turns out my graphics card isn't powerful enough. Oh, well. I hear it's great though.

I just got KOTOR on PC as well... Installing it here shortly. Should be a fun experience... A great game for sure.
A good point was made about picking up RL though... It's an older game now, so it's easily had for $20 or less at this point. Worth that and then some, so I suggest nabbing it no matter what.
Rebel Strike's a great game, a fun time, even at full retail... But KOTOR is fun as well (Played it on X-box first), and really you cannot go wrong with any of these.
If you want the ultimate "I'm in Star Wars" experience in gaming though... You need to play Jedi Knight, Force Commander, and the entire X-Wing series (X-Wing & it's expansions, TIE Fighter & expansions, and X-Wing: Alliance). Those games are the ones that define Star Wars to me, in EU overall as well as in gaming.

<font size="2" face="arial">If you don't have a Gamecube then you won't be able to get Rebel Strike. It's a GC exclusive. And one other question, how did you just know realize that you don't have a Gamecube?

<font size="2" face="arial">How do you not realize what gaming platform you have? Did you mean you thought you were getting a GC? Because if you didn't realize you had an Xbox instead of a GC you've been watching too much tv and playing too many video games.
BTW Rebel Strike and Rogue Leader are both GC games. So you can't get one of them.

<font size="2" face="arial">Good luck playing Rebel Strike, a GC exclusive without a GC. I guess you just have a very active immagination?
