Overview
SwedishAmerican is now UW Health
Since 2021, we have been introducing the UW Health brand throughout northern Illinois. The next step is making access to all UW Health resources easier by consolidating the two websites we currently have into one.
The swedishamerican.org website has been integrated into uwhealth.org. Patients, employees and referring providers will use uwhealth.org for all of their needs including clinic information, MyChart access, patient education, referring physician links and job opportunities.

Whether you are a patient of UW Health in northern Illinois or in Madison, Wis., you can access your medical records, schedule appointments and message your provider just as you always have. Even though the logos and colors might look a little different than what you're used to as a SwedishAmerican patient, you can still access all of your information atmychart.uwhealth.org.

A MyChart app is available for your smartphone. If you are a SwedishAmerican patient and already use the app, there is one small step you need to take to ensure you are able to continue using the app.
Updating your MyChart app
Step 1 - Identify the organization
The MyChart App will show the last organization you connected to. If SwedishAmerican displays, switch to UW Health by selecting “Switch organizations” in the upper right of the app screen.
Step 2 - Add organization
If “UW Health MyChart” displays, select it. If not, select “Add Organization.”
Step 3 - Search for UW Health
If UW Health MyChart does not display, type UW Health in the search bar. Select UW Health MyChart from the results.
Step 4 - Get set with your app
You are now connected to UW Health MyChart.
