SummerSlam 2024 is just around the corner. There are already some confirmed matches, such as Damian Priest vs. Gunther, Nia Jax vs. Bayley, and others that are almost official, such as Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa, Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley, and Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk.

Fans are starting to imagine what is going to happen at SummerSlam by playing the booker. Fans already have the ideal scenarios for SummerSlam, like certain wrestlers winning, or the return of Roman Reigns. But this time we will talk about the worst-case booking scenarios that nobody wants to see, but that could ruin WWE's Biggest Party of the Summer.
Drew McIntyre Vs. CM Punk Vs. Seth Rollins
Drew McIntyre & CM Punk Should Collide In A Singles Match
- Drew McIntyre and CM PUNK have had a long feud.
- They should have a singles match.
- Seth Rollins, who does not have an opponent for SummerSlam, could be added to the match.
Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been in a long feud since the road to WrestleMania 40. Therefore, they should face each other one-on-one at SummerSlam 2024. However, there is a possibility that Seth Rollins could be added to the match, as Rollins says Punk meddled in his business, and they already had a promo on Monday Night Raw. Also, right now, Rollins doesn't have an opponent for SummerSlam. If the expected match between Punk and McIntyre turned into a Triple Threat match, it would be a bad booking decision.
CM Punk Defeats Drew McIntyre At SummerSlam
Drew McIntyre Deserves To Win
- CM Punk has made Drew McIntyre's life a living hell.
- Drew McIntyre deserves the win in their first encounter.
- This feud is already one-sided, which is why Punk should not win.
Something even worse than that Triple Threat match would be CM Punk defeating Drew McIntyre. Punk has made McIntyre's life a living hell, costing him the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania, at Clash At The Castle and also at Money In The Bank. For the sake of the storyline, and his career, Drew McIntyre has to beat CM Punk in their first match, which will most likely be at SummerSlam. If Punk is victorious, it would be a terrible booking decision.
Sami Zayn Loses The Intercontinental Championship
Sami Zayn Ended The Longest Intercontinental Title Reign Of All Time
- Sami Zayn defeated Gunther at WrestleMania 40.
- Sami ended Gunther's 666-day Intercontinental Title reign.
- Sami Zayn should retain the title at SummerSlam 2024.
Sami Zayn was the one who ended the longest Intercontinental Title reign of all time, as he defeated Gunther at WrestleMania 40, dethroning him after 666 days. With that being said, Sami Zayn can't lose the title at SummerSlam, as it would be too soon.
We're talking about the guy who defeated Gunther, so he has to stay strong for at least a couple more months. Sami Zayn dropping the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam would be a bad booking scenario.
Logan Paul Retains The United States Championship
Logan Paul’s United States Title Reign Must End
- Logan Paul won the United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023.
- Logan Paul's most recent defense was at WrestleMania 40.
- LA Knight should defeat Logan Paul at SummerSlam 2024.
Unlike Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental Title reign, Logan Paul’s United States Title reign should end at SummerSlam 2024. Logan Paul has not defended the title since WrestleMania 40, and fans do not like part-time champions.

Before WWE heads to Cleveland, Ohio for SummerSlam 2024, there are some things that need to happen at some point soon!
It is time for Logan Paul to drop the belt, especially if he is defending the title against LA Knight, who deserves a title run in WWE. If Logan Paul walks out of SummerSlam with the US Title on his shoulder, most fans would be upset.
Roman Reigns Returns As A Heel
WWE Fans Want Roman Reigns Back As Soon As Possible
- Roman Reigns will likely make his return at SummerSlam 2024.
- Countless WWE fans miss Roman Reigns.
- They want to cheer for him when he returns.
"We want Roman" is what the fans chant week after week, calling for the return of the Tribal Chief, who has been absent since he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40. Fans are hoping for Roman Reigns to return as a babyface, because they really want to cheer for him and, more importantly, they want Roman to stop the new Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa. But a terrible booking scenario would be if Roman Reigns returned as a heel and the fans were forced to boo him.
Dominik Mysterio Helps Rhea Ripley At SummerSlam
Dominik Mysterio Should Help Liv Morgan Instead
- Rhea Ripley made her return on the July 8 episode of Monday Night Raw.
- Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan is likely to happen at SummerSlam 2024.
- Dominik Mysterio should help Liv Morgan win.
Rhea Ripley made her return just when it looked like Dominik Mysterio was going to intentionally kiss Liv Morgan. Now Rhea is very upset and wants to get her hands on both of them, so most likely, at SummerSlam, Ripley will challenge Liv Morgan, with Dominik Mysterio at ringside in a more or less neutral position.
Ideally, Dominik would help Liv Morgan win, and then Rhea can go on her way as a babyface, but if, for some reason, Dominik shows loyalty to Rhea and helps her defeat Liv, it would be a terrible booking decision.
Tiffany Stratton Fails Her Money In The Bank Cash-In Attempt
Stratton Should Successfully Cash-In Her Money In The Bank Contract
- Tiffany Stratton grabbed the Money In The Bank Briefcase.
- Tiffany is one of the most over female wrestlers right now.
- She should successfully cash-in her contract and become Champion.
Tiffany Stratton won the 2024 women's Money In The Bank Ladder match and will now look to cash in her contract to win her first title on the main roster. Stratton doesn't necessarily have to cash-in at SummerSlam, but if she does, the worst case booking scenario would be for her to fail in the attempt. Imagine if Nia Jax defeats Bayley and becomes Women's Champion and then Tiffany Stratton fails in her cash-in attempt. That would suck.
Damian Priest Defeats Gunther At SummerSlam
Gunther Should Win The World Heavyweight Championship
- Gunther won the 2024 King Of The Ring Tournament.
- Gunther is challenging World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.
- The Ring General should defeat Damian Priest.
One of the worst case booking scenarios for SummerSlam 2024 would be Damian Priest defeating Gunther, thus retaining the World Heavyweight Championship. Not every title reign needs to last a year or six months, and Priest's reign definitely shouldn't last that long. He's been a good champion overall, but the fans don't feel he's a true main eventer. Gunther, on the other hand, is on fire right now, and fans want to see him with gold again.
Solo Sikoa Defeats Cody Rhodes
Fans Don't Even Want Solo Sikoa To Face Cody Rhodes
- Solo Sikoa pinned Cody Rhodes at Money In The Bank 2024.
- Solo will likely challenge Cody at SummerSlam.
- Cody Rhodes should retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Truth be told, Solo Sikoa is not ready for the main event scene, and he may never be. Fans simply do not like this guy. Still, Solo Sikoa will likely challenge the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2024.

It looks like Cody will retain the title, and then Solo will have to deal with Roman Reigns. But what if Solo Sikoa defeats Cody Rhodes and becomes the Undisputed WWE Champion? That would be a terrible scenario.
Roman Reigns Does Not Show Up
Fans Are Expecting Roman Reigns To Return At SummerSlam
- SummerSlam is a great scenario for Roman Reigns to return.
- Fans expect Roman to appear during (or after) the match between Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes.
- Fans would be disappointed if the Tribal Chief does not show up.
Fans miss Roman Reigns dearly, and are waiting for him to make his return at the Biggest Party of the Summer. The fans want Roman to return not only because they want to see him on TV again, but because they want him to bring order to the Bloodline. It would be awesome to see the Tribal Chief return during or after the match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. But imagine if Roman Reigns doesn't show up at SummerSlam at all? Fans would be very disappointed.
